2021

In Gwangju Metropolitan City, Farm8 Co., Ltd, and Gwangsan District entered into an investment agreement worth 15 billion won for plant and processing factories, integrating an indoor farm control system.

2020

Farm8 divested its PLANTFARM division

Participated in the construction of the Nongjincheon Smart Farm pilot project (total area of 600 pyeong).

Built a smart farm at Megamart’s Cheonan store (310 pyeong).

Constructed a smart farm at IKEA Gwangmyeong store.

2019

Changed the corporate name to Farm8 Co., Ltd.

Expanded to the second generation of smart farms (330 pyeong).

Established Metro Farms in five Seoul subway stations

(Sangdo, Euljiro, Dapsimni, Chungjeongno, Cheonwang).

Established smart farm facilities.

Founded subsidiaries: Miraewon T-Farm and Miraewon ELM.

Activated a production line for peppers and specialty vegetables.
